Holiday Programming @ NLPL

Though the weather outside is far from frightful, the holiday programming at New Lenox Library is still delightful!

Now that we are in to December, the library has some great upcoming events!

Special programs include:

Stories with Mrs. Claus
Saturday, Dec. 12
10:30 - 11:30 a.m.
All ages
Registration required
Bring your family and join Mrs. Claus for some tales, treats and a fun surprise brought from the North Pole especially for you!


Polar Express Pajama Party
Tuesday, Dec. 22
6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
All ages
Must register in person starting Dec. 8
Grab your blanket & pillow and come see The Polar Express in your PJs. Other magical surprises await you, so don't miss the fun!

Itsy Bitsy Toddler

No registration required, just sign up on Storytime Room door
Christmas comes early for Itsy Bitsy Toddler! The next two weeks will feature stories, music and fun with a holiday theme! Come learn some Christmas songs and festive fingerplays!

Simply Silly Storytime
Wednesdays, Dec. 9 & 16
All ages

No registration required, just sign up on Meeting Room door
Toys, toys, fabulous toys! On Dec. 9, come and hear some great toy stories and on Dec. 16, stop by for some holiday tales, rhymes and songs and stay for play time!



WordPlay: Young Writers' Group (Holiday Edition)

Want to try your hand at coming up with your own Christmas song? Can't wait to write about the best gift ever? We'll be scribing some holiday tales, playing some festive word games and even getting a special treat.
