Stories with Mrs. Claus

'Twas two weeks before Christmas, to the library came
Two special visitors, Claus was the name.

Mrs. Claus read us stories, oh what a treat!

The children made ornaments that were so very sweet.

All good boys and girls, or so they all said,
Got to munch on some cookies, some green and some red.

Santa had toys, a whole bag to give out.
The children were happy and gave quite a shout!

Each good little child told Santa their wish
For the gifts they hoped to unwrap on Christmas.

Then after the hugs, and waving goodbye,

The Clauses were off, in the blink of an eye.

Santa gave a big laugh, his whole belly shook,

"Merry Christmas," he said, "and to all a good book!"

Monster Mash

Looking to have some Halloween fun? There are still a few spots available for the Monster Mash program next Saturday, October 10 from 10:30 - 11:15 a.m.

We'll hear some silly stories, play some spooky games and even make a couple of monster-riffic crafts! The program is for kids aged 3 -6 years, with a caregiver.

Costumes are encouraged! Participants will get to bring a special treat home, too.

Just call the library to register today!
